Creating authentic change in life is hard. While the mind might think it’s in control, it’s actually the subconscious (aka the body) that calls all the shots. In fact, 95-99% of our decisions are driven largely by the information received and processed through our body’s five senses.

In order to create change, we have to press ‘pause’ on our automatic, conditioned reactions largely embedded within the intricate web of our body’s nervous system and fascial network. It’s then that we can break free of our default mode and disrupt the behavioral loops that keep us stuck in a vicious cycle of bad habits,  compulsions, and addictions. 

The 1-Day Somatic Reset is an immersive experience with the specific intention of giving the body the relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation.  With the body free of tension, the mind is left feeling calm, peaceful, and tranquil. It’s from this space that change is possible and we can become the conscious creators of our respective lives.

The intention of the 1-Day Somatic Reset is to immerse your body within an personal retreat experience that creates an environment that supports holistic health and wellbeing. Additionally, each of the practices and modalities included during the day are potent catalysts for healing and change. Once you feel how somatic practices impact the body, you will be able to use these experiences as a reference point for future practice. 

With each 1-Day Somatic Reset, your body will be immersed in nurturing and nourishing environments that include various somatic practices, such as meditation, breathwork, TRE, Yin yoga,  sauna infusions, cold exposure, wholesome & healthy meals. Each 1-Day Somatic Reset also includes a plant medicine journey, providing the nervous system with the physiological shifts that make the potential for change more accessible. 

A core component of this experience is the time and space for Preparation and Integration. As the day concludes, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of – and greater connection to – your body, as well as tools that will support you in everyday life. The shift that you feel in your body will be palpable. Your body and mind will have received the gift of recovery while you learn tools and techniques to help your relationships deepen and thrive.

Itinerary for the Experience

Preparation Intensive

The journey of change starts before we take the first step. The more we understand our starting point, the more self-awareness we can lean on as we traverse the challenging terrain of change.

That is why every Somatic Reset begins with a 2-hour Intensive Preparation Session. During this session, you’ll explore the variables and contexts of your unique life that will help create a focus for your day-long reset.

Tentative Somatic Reset Timetable

The structure and timetable for the experience have been intentionally and purposefully designed to foster transformation and growth:

  • 10 – 10:30am: Arrival and Settling In 
  • 10:30 – 12pm: Somatic Therapy Session
  • 12 – 1:30pm: Medicine Journey**
  • 1:30 – 2:30pm: Light Meal & Integration
  • 2:30 – 3:30pm: Thermal Contrast Therapy
  • 3:30 – 4:30pm: Restorative Stillness
  • 4:30 – 5pm: Closing the Experience
